President’s Message

What is the Mother Teresa Maternity Home?

- A peaceful, safe, and drug-free home for a pregnant woman in need.

- A comfortable, private room.

- Help with appropriate community resources.

- Time to turn her life in a new direction.

- Guidance toward schooling and employment.

For the past twelve years, the Mother Teresa Maternity Home has been providing these services and more to over 200 women and their infants, accommodating six women at a time.  An on-site paid staff provides help and supervision twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week.   All this has been accomplished without any government support.   Donations, small grants and fund raising activities have made this possible.  We welcome your interest and your help.  Contact our Home Director at (530) 295-8006 to learn more, to visit the home, or to join us in our mission to help women in need
